SOMA with Eliza Barrios

We worked with San Francisco artist Eliza Barrios to create animations that played on the side of a building in SOMA. This project was organized by Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, and featured dialog from interviews Eliza conducted with Filipino residents of SOMA.

I was most interested in making graphics that skewed the viewers perceptions about what was going on.

The Kenwood Group has worked with Kia Simon since 2006 to provide motion graphics for stand-alone videos as well as for event openers, stingers and speaker transitions. Kia is a wonderful collaborator, helping us develop great solutions for challenging budgets. She’s flexible, dependable and brings a positive attitude to solving problems and meeting tough deadlines. Kia has become a trusted resource for delivering great motion graphics.
