Kia recently joined the board for Camp Reel Stories, a filmmaking camp for girls. At a board member’s meet and greet Kia asked the founder Esther for stories about the alums from camp, Esther mentioned that at this, the fifth year, former campers are now in film school coming back to mentor the new batch of campers. That’s so cool, and inspiring, so when we decided to make a video for the 5th anniversary we highlighted that story. And former camper Yasaman Ford helped write the script and recorded the voice over.
