What Gall!

These gall wasps are truly amazing, fascinating creatures, I kept thinking this video should be even longer and even more full of facts. We barely mention that wasps can be parasites on other wasps, actually (ew) laying their eggs inside another wasp’s larvae to give their own wasp larvae something yummy to eat. And that can happen a few levels down, so 4 levels of parasites, all within an original host. When we look at the tiny creatures of our world, it can really feel like we’re discovering monsters we didn’t believe were real, or discovering alien life forms. At small scales, the world is a radically different place.

Motion Graphics and Editorial by Sneaky Little Sister.

Kia is a very creative animator who is an excellent collaborator in concepting creative as well as the technical details of each project. She works with us to think each project through from beginning to completion and has successfully turned many projects around on a tight deadline. I have worked with Kia over many years and greatly appreciate the talent and expertise she brings to our projects.
