IN PUBLIC SPACE

Three dances take the viewer to everyday locations and transform them: POTRZEBIE invades an underground train station; Flyaway Productions scales a fire escape and hangs precariously off a roof; and pieces of e dance exchange plays with restricted motion in a car, on stairs, and in a tunnel. "In Public Space" is a sometimes lyrical, sometimes funny exploration of movement and interactions in San Francisco.

"A dance based on everyday glances and movements synchronized into something exuberant."
